Some helpfull information...

Gävle is located by the Gulf of Bothnia some 180 km north of Stockholm.
From Stockholm-Arlanda airport there is a connection by train from the airport to Gävle. The train station in Gävle is called "Gävle C".
The railwaystation at Arlanda is located underground and is named 'Arlanda C'. Note that this is the station for "long distance train",
and not the fast train connection to Stockholm City (ArlandaExpress). The station for "long distance train"
is reached through "Sky City" between Terminal 5 and Terminal 2 and 3 (everything is indoor so do not go outside).
Tickets for the train should be pre-booked at: www.sj.se

You will get a reservation number, and there are machines at the entrance to the train-station where you
get your paper tickets. There is also a manned desk where you can get your ticket.
Please note that you will probably need to do pre-reservations because the train is often fully booked.
Also check when you do your reservation for flight tickets,
because the number of trains is limited late in the evening and early in the mornings.
